THE EXPERIMENTATION LOOP

01Research & Data

Dig into analytics, heatmaps and session recordings to find where users drop off and why.

02Hypothesize

Turn insight into a sharp, falsifiable hypothesis: change X to lift metric Y because Z.

03Design & Build

Design the variation, build it in HTML/CSS/JS and QA across devices before it ships.

04Experiment

Run A/B or MVT in Adobe Target / VWO with the right audience, split and guardrails.

05Analyze

Read significance, segment the results and pull the learning — win, lose or flat.

06Iterate & Scale

Roll out winners, feed losses back into the backlog and compound the gains.

My Story

HOW I BECAME CRO

2021

The Start

I built sites, I didn't optimise them.

I began as a web & frontend developer, shipping pixel-perfect pages for dashboards and e-commerce stores.

'21 – '22

The Pattern

Then I noticed something.

Running A/B tests for Canon, Woolworths and Snug Sofa, one truth kept showing up: data beats opinions, every time.

2023

The Niche

So I went all-in on CRO.

I stopped guessing and committed to experimentation joining Thomson Reuters to optimise high-traffic funnels.

Today

The Identity

Now I'm the testing guy.
